Zomato is expanding in Sector 7, Ambala and hiring delivery boys for part-time shifts. The partner app guides you through each delivery.
Overview of the Delivery Boy Position
You will handle one meal order at a time in most cases, with the app queuing the next pickup as soon as you complete a drop. The rhythm of a food delivery shift follows the city's meal times, with peaks that keep you busy and gaps that let you reset. Working this role in Sector 7 typically brings in ₹20,000–₹24,000 per month, more during busy seasons.
As a part-time role, it lets you pick a few hours a day in Sector 7 and still get paid weekly by Zomato.
Responsibilities
- Confirm payment status in the app before leaving the customer
- Use in-app navigation to plan the quickest safe route
- Stay near busy restaurants between orders to reduce waiting time
- Follow the customer's delivery instructions in the app
- Follow the delivery sequence in the app when carrying more than one order
- Collect meal orders from restaurants as soon as they are ready
- Collect cash on delivery where applicable and record it in the app
Eligibility Criteria
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Address proof
- Any valid government photo ID
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
- PAN card
- Active bank account for weekly payouts
