About the Delivery Rider Role
Orders are matched to delivery riders who are already nearby, which is why staying within ITPL Layout during a shift works best. You will be the face of Swiggy at the customer's door, so a courteous, professional manner is part of the job. This full-time role pays ₹27,000–₹34,000 per month, based on completed work and any incentives you qualify for in Bengaluru.
Full-time delivery riders typically work longer daily shifts, which is where the higher end of the earning range comes from.
Responsibilities
- Respect building and society rules when delivering food inside gated premises
- Keep your two-wheeler fuelled or charged and in working condition
- Stay near busy restaurants between orders to reduce waiting time
- Reach the restaurant within the pickup time shown in the app
- Collect cash on delivery where applicable and record it in the app
- Keep the app updated at restaurant pickup and at customer drop off
- Confirm payment status in the app before leaving the customer
- Ride at a safe speed, especially in residential lanes
Eligibility Criteria
- Active bank account for weekly payouts
- PAN card
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- Aadhaar card
- Two-wheeler driving licence issued by the RTO
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Android smartphone with an active internet connection
