How the Food Delivery Partner Role Works
Zomato keeps the process consistent for every order: accept, pick up, deliver, confirm. Once you have done a few, it becomes routine. Orders with drinks, soups, or gravies need extra attention while riding so nothing spills before the handover. Pay for this position is ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month, based on the volume of work you complete in Sou Vasco.
Full-time food delivery partners typically work longer daily shifts, which is where the higher end of the earning range comes from.
Responsibilities
- Confirm payment status in the app before leaving the customer
- Keep the app open and location on throughout the shift
- Follow the delivery sequence in the app when carrying more than one order
- Follow the customer's delivery notes for contactless or gate handovers
- Keep the delivery app updated at pickup and drop off
- Keep your phone reachable so the customer and support can contact you
- Wait at restaurants only as long as needed and inform support if there is a long delay
Eligibility Criteria
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Two-wheeler with valid registration certificate (RC)
- Own two-wheeler (bike or scooter)
- PAN card
- Minimum age 18 years
- Two-wheeler driving licence issued by the RTO
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
