Urgent: Zomato Needs Full-Time Delivery Riders in Tambaram
Zomato is recruiting delivery riders for Tambaram, Chennai. This is local, on the road work with orders assigned automatically by the partner app.
Job Overview
You will handle one meal order at a time in most cases, with the app queuing the next pickup as soon as you complete a drop. In-app support is available for issues like a delayed order at restaurants, a wrong address, or a customer who cannot be reached. Income for delivery riders here is around ₹24,000–₹30,000 per month, and it scales with the number of hours you put in.
Expect full-time hours: regular daily shifts in Tambaram, with your schedule still set by you inside the app.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct order goes to the correct customer on every trip
- Deliver to the exact flat, floor, or desk listed in the order
- Ride at a safe speed, especially in residential lanes
- Mark each delivery complete in the app after handover
- Keep hot food hot and cold items cold using the insulated bag
- Carry the order carefully up stairs or lifts when required
Eligibility Criteria
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- Vehicle documents (RC and insurance) in valid condition
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Minimum age 18 years
- Valid driving licence
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
