About the Delivery Rider Role
Food orders are time sensitive, so the Zomato app shows the expected delivery time for each one and routes you the quickest safe way. Training covers order handling, app usage, and safe riding, so first time delivery riders know what to expect before their first delivery. ₹20,000–₹26,000 per month is the expected earning range for this position, with peak-time incentives adding to it.
Part-time here means you choose a few hours a day or a few days a week, with no expectation of full-time availability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver meals within the time shown to the customer in the app
- Follow safety guidelines shared during onboarding on every shift
- Double check the drop address in the app before starting the ride
- Follow basic food hygiene practices while handling orders
- Stay within the assigned delivery zone during a shift
- Go online in the app only when you are ready to accept orders
Eligibility Criteria
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- PAN card
- Minimum age 18 years
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Valid driving licence
