The Delivery Rider Role at Zomato
The work is hands on: collect the order, secure it in your delivery bag, ride to the customer, and complete the handover politely. Responsibilities
- Confirm the order ID with restaurant staff before collection
- Keep your two-wheeler ready for back to back orders during peak hours
- Keep food away from direct sun or rain during the ride
- Maintain the delivery bag in clean, usable condition
- Report any accident or vehicle breakdown through the app right away
- Complete deliveries in the order assigned by the app
- Return undeliverable orders as per the instructions in the app
