About the Delivery Boy Role
Deliveries start when you go online in the app and end when you log off, with each order in Sector 14 tracked from pickup to drop. After a background check and a short training, your account is activated and you can begin accepting orders in Sector 14. This opening pays in the ₹25,000–₹32,000 per month range, settled weekly into your bank account.
The position is full-time, and Swiggy expects delivery boys in Gurugram to work regular shifts through the week.
Responsibilities
- Handle drinks, soups, and gravies carefully to avoid spills
- Ride safely and avoid shortcuts through no entry roads
- Communicate politely with customers at handover
- Keep the app updated at restaurant pickup and at customer drop off
- Confirm order details in the app before leaving the pickup point
- Keep customer details confidential and use them only for the delivery
- Verify the order ID with staff at restaurants before collection
- Keep the vehicle documents and licence with you while on duty
Eligibility Criteria
- Two-wheeler with valid registration certificate (RC)
- Aadhaar or Voter ID card
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Valid driving licence
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Age 18 or above
